The Asheville Regional Airport Terminal Modernization is transforming the airport into a larger, more modern facility designed to accommodate continued passenger growth. The project includes expanded ticketing and security areas, new concourses and gates, upgraded baggage systems, expanded concessions and passenger amenities, and extensive improvements to the airport’s electrical and energy infrastructure. The modernization also adds a new central energy plant, emergency power systems, and upgraded lighting throughout the terminal, creating a more efficient and comfortable experience for travelers.
