Fountain Services, LLC was founded in 1946 by Woodrow Pollard Fountain. During World War II, Woodrow built switchboards and installed electrical systems aboard emergency naval ships transporting troops overseas. When the war ended, he came home to Rutherford County, NC, and started Fountain Electric Services.
Woodrow’s son Terry continued the business after his father retired, and today a third generation carries it forward, with Woodrow’s grandson, Terry Fountain Jr., leading the company’s continued growth.
Today, Fountain operates across the Carolinas with regional offices in Asheville, Charlotte, Hickory, and Greenville, SC. We are proudly headquartered in Spindale, NC.
