Community Involvement

Fountain Electric and Services believes in giving back to the communities it serves. We support organizations and programs that focus on developing effective youth leaders and helping neighbors in need.

75 Years...and Counting

Fountain Services, LLC was established in 1946 by Woodrow Pollard Fountain. During World War II, Woodrow Fountain built switchboards and installed electrical systems on emergency naval ships to transport troops. At the end of the war, Woodrow Fountain moved to Rutherford County, NC, and started Fountain Electric Services. Fountain’s son Terry continued the business after Woodrow retired. Today, a third generation of Fountains takes charge, with Woodrow’s grandson Terry Fountain Jr. running the growing business.
